Didn't do the easy things right

I must ask again , when did Refs become Doctors.

They try to keep time wasting to a min and try to manage players to stop faking injuries or  taking injuries to the limit  and quite often they are successful but who's to say they get it right?

They look stupid when spending a minute trying to get a player to get up only to  wave trainers on after that

Another advantage of a fixed 30 mins each half. Player goes down Ref calls on Trainer or Doc or Stretcher party and no time is lost

I'll give him 1

I believe this was his EFL debut having stepped up from the National League. Didn’t exactly cover himself in glory I’m afraid.
Booked two of our players for very little yet let blatant things go by. The pulling back of Mitchell was a yellow any day of the week. Although we scored Tommy was being held in a headlock, and was impeded on most of our corners. Couldn’t believe he gave a free kick for the shoulder to shoulder challenge that Hurst did. Very weak with basics.
Agree with DW he was too keen to stop play for perceived injuries-although it’s not just him and something needs to change.
Bearing in mind it was his debut he can have one point but needs to improve

Yes the Assessors Report would be good to get hold of.

I've seen an odd one and they "tell it like it is / was". There were loads of points that could have been pointed out to him

On a wider point something needs to be done re injuries which are faked and those which might look to be faked but turn out NOT to be.

He took too long to get Trainer on several times including head injuries and didn't even stop play when their player took ball straight in face but just carried on. Where was the check for concussion or other disorientation ?

 Ref should have checked

Very poor overall.
With regards to Rowe at corners, if a ref just occasionally awarded a penalty it might stop some of the wrestling.

Giving Seaman a red card instead of a yellow at first summed him up for me.
