Not sure when was the last time we can back from behind to win at home? Maybe August.

We did just enough against a poor side. I slated him for the goal in the lucky pint thread but, Mitchell deserves a lot of credit for carrying on after the injury. Looked in extreme discomfort. Whether you rate him or not, you need attitude like that in the team.

They've got a fairly average away record, just a little worse than our away record. Coming from behind to win doesn't happen too often I think, so overall a decent enough result.

Good result, boring poor performance. Not exciting to watch at all in my opinion. Boring football.

Less boring than most games we have seen this season.

It was a massive improvement on Tues eve. Bit the bar was set so low it would have been more difficult to be as bad or worse than seeing an improvement.

There were some signs today particularly in the 1st half that we looked like a football team with some understanding and purpose in our offensive play.
Ben Close was excellent 1st half linking the play from defence to attack.

Stop limping high balls up to Miller, ( Olowu being the biggest culprit ) and we look decent.

Biggest plus point was George Miller scoring again.  A well worked training ground routine.
Let’s hope it’s the 1st of quite a few more from him. He has the chance to end up on 15 goals this season.

In the last seconds of the game, a Wimbledon player hit a shot goalwards which hit another of their players and deflected either over the bar or across goal and out of play. Two or three players were on the ground and the ref blew for full time. I was hoping to see it on the highlights but can’t find anything.
Can anyone tell me what actually happened as it was difficult to see clearly from the South Stand.

Yep hit the bloke just about on the goal line and deflected over. Report said he was trying to chest it in but it looked destined for the back of the net anyway

Cheers Raven.  It was hard to tell whether the first shot was going in or not. Would the player it hit have been offside.
In fact, has anyone got any footage of it please.

The highlights are on Newsnow DRFC, Hound. It's hard to tell if he was offside.

Cheers SS.  I haven’t t seen that newsnow site before.
It is hard to see if he was offside.
Although there is a defender in the line, when the shot is struck you can’t see whether the player it hits is level or beyond Mitchell.
One for VAR had it been a PL game.

My first instinct was it was going wide anyway but it certainly was a bizarre ending to a game with the majority of us sat firmly in our seats waiting for the casualties to be dealt with and a goalkick.

Mate, you need to look at that site every day. All news to do with the Rovers is coming in all day.

It's the first thing I look at as soon as I go online.
