He absolutely did. If memory serves me correctly we had Griffin, McCombe, Jones and Spurr as our back 4 that day. A bodies on the line defence if ever you have seen one.

The great thing about that side was the attitude and passion. Yes we weren't pretty on the eye but we were effective. Totally opposite of where we are now.

No way am I going all the way to Kent to watch total utter drivel.

Went to Crawley on a Tuesday, 14 & half hrs inc the game from leaving Beehive depot, Carcroft at 12-15 pm to getting home at 2-45 am

I am an idiot but not ready for the asylum yet. If I see much more if Schofield ball and endure that travel time also then the Green Van will be coming to pick me up i fear.
