Just asked my 10 yr old Grandson if he is coming to the match today
He has a season ticket.
“Do you mind if I don’t go Grandpa”  that’s what it has come to.
A Football mad 10yr old who would rather stay at home than go to watch the match.
I really don’t need to say any more do i.

The entertainment value is zero. He want’s see the ball moved with pace, attacking football, he wants to see crosses into the box, he wants to see shots at goal, some on target and at least 1 or 2 hitting the back of the net.

my son has a season ticket and he’s barely been half a dozen times this season and won’t be going today either. I fear that we’re losing fans like there’s no tomorrow.

The game against Crewe has put him off big time.
His Dad also came to that one and couldn’t believe how bad we were.

He said “have you had to watch that all season”
Guess what my reply was?

I have never been so negged out about my football team.

Yorkshire getting beat after scoring 500 in 1st innings doesn’t help either.

0-2
We show a hint of promise, concede a sloppy set piece.
Fans make their feelings heard.
Rovers concede a second after half time from a counter.
In total there is 3 shots on target from the Rovers.
At some point grant mccanns name gets sung.

Another day at the office.

Another poor performance by Rovers expected, with Grimsby also in poor form the fans are going to be bored with a 0 - 1 defeat.

2 poor teams I expect. It will come down to who wants it more. Even if we manage not to make any silly mistakes I don’t feel confident that we’ll create much in the way of chances.

Grimsby to win their cup final today. Probably more of their fans than ours today. Thanks Schofield. Today will be like a home game for them.

Im going to stick my neck out here.

Lose 0-2 poor defensive mistakes, 2 shots on target for us.

Oh and Danny to say it was a positive performance post match interview.

Not been for a month, 2-1 win over Wimbledon, I can just see this becoming reality by tonight though.

Hopefully it's not & we play positively at least, as others have said I'm mostly looking forward to seeing Bobby, Jack & any of the other young uns playing.

One of my group not going again because of the crap on offer.
The second successive match he has missed and also decided not to renew his season ticket.

Thinking similar. Stewards were having to herd people reluctantly off of the Popside at the end of the game.

Alarm gone off twice smoke bombs on concourse in away end. Apparently the bar won’t open at half time in north stand

Leaving out the attacking threat of Seaman and Goodman just sums up Schofield’s monumental incompetence. He can’t even get the obvious decisions right. What a brilliant coach.

Biggest change: The lads appear to be doing all the basics right today

Credit to Ref as well. Can't say I've seen a ref actually show this much authority in a game for a while

19th place here we come. TB would be better driving down the M18 in his motor and throwing a few million quid out the window. it would do more good than giving it to DS

Another reason to rebuild and even it takes two seasons in L2 we need to get rid of all the deadwood of the past ( Copps as well ) and breathe a fresh impetus and understanding of what DRFC is !!
