I missed what happened as I was finishing my ale but that was really worrying to see him stretchered off like that.

Everything crossed that he's okay. Not heard anything yet.

Three players making what looked like fair challenges for a ball bouncing around. He looked to get bashed in the side. Looked for all the world like possible broken ribs.

Schofield said after match that the physio had rung him from hospital said Ben was sat up so that’s encouraging.

Thanks for posting this. That's good news.

Was very concerning seeing him strapped down tightly and showing no signs of movement whilst being stretchered off below me under the tunnel.

That might be the last time we see him in a Rovers shirt.

It was a "back" made for him whether accidental or not

He hit the floor and immediately felt (clutched) his chest

I'm no medic but that was the bit that worried me and I thought cracked/ broken ribs

8 minutes on deck didn't look good either.

Hope he makes quick, and full recovery . Good luck mate

Why would the physio be  laid flat out keeping his head still if it was his ribs? For me he's landed badly on neck, upper shoulders, hence the reason for restraining his neck.
Hope it's not bad, class player

He landed flat on his lower back from what I saw. Could be a bit of whiplash and the necks just gone in to spasm.

The physio holding his neck would have been precautionary, before he was put on the stretcher he was moving both hands and feet

Whether the contact was accidental or not it always brasses me off when a player is obviously badly injured but the player who did it doesn’t go over to either apologise or just to see how the player is.

There wasn’t a rush from SJAB
