I believe it's fairly common knowledge that there is a lack of street parking around Harrogate Towns ground, so I thought I might offer a few tips:You can park at the Cedar Court Hotel on York Place on a Harrogate Town matchday, all day for £5. It's a 15 minute walk into town, and a 15 minute walk to the ground. If walking far is an issue you can use the Hospital Car Park which is barely 5 minutes away, from memory 3 hours is around £5.If, like me, your to tight to pay, you might get lucky with Wedderburn Avenue, Woodland Avenue and Woodlands Drive, just off Wetherby Road after the traffic lights at the Woodlands Pub. Any furter up towards the ground is residential/parking discs. (Actually, you may be able to park in the Woodlands car park if you go there for a pre match pint unsure:). If you turn left at the Woodlands traffic lights you may get parked on a side road off Hookstone Road. Right at the lights take you down Hookstone Chase, again you may get lucky down there. These areas aren't restrictedYou may get lucky around Christ Church and The Empress pub (which is slightly closer than The Woodlands to the ground). Some side roads near the church are unrestricted, others require aparking disc with a 3 hour limit. If your going for a few pints in the town centre and don't want to walk, there is a bus that stops right outside the ground. I think it's X70As for me, it's a 30 minute walk from my house. After 51 years my first ever away game at home

They'd be walking back from where they came from. Twice.
I've been done , well technically I have "done myself"
Your walk from Sainsbury's will take you right past the Woodlands pub. No beer inside the ground. Looking forward to my first home away game. Bloody typical that I have a family party to go to in Donny tonight though.
Thought it might be worth bumping this post from our last visit to Harrogate. ( That's the royal we, as I live in Harrogate!)An update from the opening post is that there is quite a bit of street parking around Christchurch / The Stray / Empress Pub, that DOESN'T require a Parking Disc or permit on a Saturday.
Your comment "You may get lucky around Christ Church..." took me off in a different direction .
