2nd best all over. Newport working harder and moving the ball quicker.

26'⏱️ | A good chance for Rovers as Luke Molyneux cuts inside to cross towards the back post and Joe Olowu who puts the ball back into the danger area but he's offside.

3-0

Biggins poor - he’s slow and sleepy here today.

I was just wondering whether our midfield were offering any resistance. Knife through butter it seems.

Newport pressing really well but we are suspect and look vulnerable trying to play short passes out from the back.

And the memories of the last few seasons come flooding back.

Big thing now is can we get back into it make it 3-2 or better rather than out out with a whimper. That will show good progress from last season.

Let's forget about the cup. Yes, it'll make us a bit of money, but we beat Hull because they allowed us to play football. In the rough and tumble of League 2, we're obviously still not equipped.

We've been outplayed by 2 mediocre bottom tier sides.

Not looking good. I don't know how we're going to get out of this.

It really is the hope that kills you. This isnt even a performance. I don't know what it is. Almost like the players think its an easy win after Tuesday.

Think Joe is lucky to have stayed on. He looks a bag of nerves. Misplacing passes over and over

Not a chance Olowu will play a much higher level. Has absolutely no composure. Hes lucky he has pace and physicality on his side because technically hes the worst at the club.

One of the worst performances ive seen  from a centre half in a very long time.

43'⏱️ | Another chance for Rovers as a short corner routine is worked to Deji Sotona who cuts inside and fires from the edge of the box, but it's well over.

Joe's always reminded me of Joe Wright. Bags of potential and technical skills, but a disastrous mistake always just around the corner.

I don't know if it's lack of concentration or a lack of composure.

Anyone who didn't see this last Saturday really wasn't watching the game. We didnt have the guile, self-confidence or physique to deal with them getting in our faces. Same problem we've had for 30 months. It was so obvious last Saturday. I'm not watching this but it sounds like the same basic problem.

80% of sides at this level rely on athletically getting in your face. If you can't cope with that, you are easy to overwhelm.
