Already 253 goals scored at 2.95 goalies per game. Swindon setting the pace with 20 goals in 6 games and Barrow with the best defence, conceding only 5 goals in 6 games.
What I find amazing and gives us hope is Gillingham top of the table 7 games in they have 15 points and got one thing in Common with Rovers, they have scored only 5 goals, equal 2nd lowest in the division. Harrogate lowest with 4, so early indications seem to show there’s either some poor teams in their with some defensive issues, or there’s some great goal scores, like Jake Young from Swindon and Will Evans from Newport, Or if you can sort your defence out like Gillingham then you will reap the rewards. We are due a big, big win.

Interesting read Upton,For me,it's the silly,avoidable defensive mistakes,half of which down to Owolu to concede goals that has us at the bottom of the league so far.90% of the time he is a great,pacey defender,but the mistakes he makes always seem to be the ones easy to punish us with,cut down those errors and we will be fine.

Another 48 goals today in L2 at an average of 4 goals per game, the worst league for some years, some shocking defensive players around, including a good few at Rovers

Basically any team that can do the basics at the back and has a bit up top will do very well in this league. It’s not like teams just throw the kitchen sink at each other from minute 1 it’s just the defending is so bad!

We’re doing our bit now, scoring an average of 2 every game over the last 6 games

We’ve done well the last 6 games but that is largely because we have won the 3 home games in that run (the 3 away games were a win and 2 losses). Nobody thinks we will continue to win every home game for the rest of the season.
