Hurst gave us that spark, he scared them to death, which got us over the line. Ground that one out, players looked knackered, however how Faal didn’t score and Baileys fantastic shot tipped onto the bar could have made it a bigger score line.
Clean sheet too!!! Though Oluwu did his best to chuck it all away, got a bit of a nerve celebrating at the end, his best contribution was sat on the bench, and long may that continue.

What's the point in a fan like you? What are you getting out of this?

A win’s a win, but without the aid of rose-tinted specs, that was a poor game. First half was all huff and puff. Second half a bit better, but we struggled to put anything cohesive together.

Please for Hurst and he’ll be a welcome addition. Fall looked cream crackered all game! Let’s see what Moly and Ironside injuries are - please, not more on the treatment table for weeks on end.

Yeah not a great performance by any means. We were sharper and brighter in the second half and Hurst made an impact but they deserved a 0-0 there really.

Still, in previous seasons we’d have folded there and not been able to hang onto the lead so I’ll take that.

A hard fought victory, had nil, nil all over it for most of the game. Think a penalty was the only way either team was going to score today.

On to the FA Cup next Saturday
