That's a drive across Leeds on the Friday afternoon for me.
An early start needed.  :(

I’m 40 minutes the other side of Bradford from Donny as well Idle, but I’ll be making the journey as I’m sure you will mate!

Well, here’s the answer as to why the date was changed.
After chatting to Gavin Baldwin today via email this morning. Agreed by him that this can be shared.

“‘It’s at Grants request. Notts County have brought their match v Stockport forward to the Friday night as well. This is so we can give the players the same level of rest as Notts County before we play them on Boxing Day”

It mucks up my plans as well, but if it helps Grant then I’ll go along with it on this occasion.
Thanks Derek. At least there is now some logical reason for the change.

I certainly will Pancho. Two granddaughters will have to get time off work though. I usually have a car full for this game.

I’m quite surprised the police have let this happen on mad Friday. They seem to struggle with mad Friday as it is, add to this 3,000 Bratford fans and a skeleton staff, makes you wonder!

Mad Friday is nowhere near as mad as it used to be.

Agreed Nudga, a lad who I used to work with used to call it “ Black Eye Friday “

Haha, I can still go crazy snakes at 47.
seriously though, 20 ÷ years ago you'd have roughly 25k people in town on mad Friday.
