Biggins and close we’re at fault for the last goal, both left their man and let them run. Jones wasnt at fault with any of them, looking back he will think all were saveable but all close range and hit low and hard. They shouldn’t have even got into a goalscoring position with either of them, poor defending.

Hasnt Bailey said he plays better in a back 3 rather than midfield?
Alan, I can agree with that and unfortunately injury stops Faulkner being considered and giving Bailey the freedom to play the position he was destined for. But, in Faulkner's case the injury is not the whole story, after the way he has played and god forbid being a good consistent defender the games he has played, and being no part of what has been dished up at the back this season being ignored when fit, shows a marked lack of trust in youth coming through the ranks, and is being perpetuated ignoring Flint who is a player recognised as a mid fielder/central defender.. and never gets a sniff and could release Bailey. I don't trust the players who play at whatever their age is currently in central defence other than Wood who in the right set up is a very good defender, who has been asked to play a way he has not played in his long career, and would be the ideal player for those two to play alongside. I have also seen enough to know the others regularly make mistakes most games that have cost us in games this season and also in the last two seasons, and they are also susceptible to injury. I hope you will forgive me for thinking we are missing something, and that being trust of young players in certain positions.
