A good loan for the lad at a good level, I hope he does well, quite a few on here I think have in the past stated opinions of the lad they may never or seen little of.
Well I have seen quite a bit of him, and think the lad is a good keeper, I wish him well, smash it Ben.

Gone out on loan to Gainsborough Trinity

Managed now by Russ Wilcox.
He told me last week that he was on the lookout for a better keeper so he must think that Ben can do a job for him.

No, since the abysmal youth cup display Flint and Brown two who have contracts with us and Max Adamson a good striker returning from injury have played games with the u18s beating Bradford City that is an u19s side with overage players with two goals by Adamson in a second half substitution, and drawing with table toppers Grimsby Town a good side 0-0 last Saturday Flint and Brown playing big parts in the game and the team is unbeaten in the league since that Fylde game.
The three are quality players and improve the standard providing goals and good defending.
Flint was brought back from Gainsborough earlier in the season to cover our injury crisis and was travelling sub in a number of first team games obviously unused, but played the full game at Mansfield on debut for the first team  Brown had a long injury, Adamson  was out twelve weeks.
I think the plan is Flint going out again  after playing really well
at Gainsborough, and getting a couple of MOM awards there, Green I think is already at Maltby, Adamson when fully fit could do with being at a club like Gainsborough to stretch him and if he scores goals there or at that level clubs will be around him at 18yrs old..

Glad to see our third choice keeper hopefully getting games and prove he can do it at that level. Let’s be fair both our keepers above him are average at best in league 2. We need better to progress.
