Up to 16th in the table…we’re flying!

Er, no we’re not…down to 20th.

We are very funny to be fair, 3 centre halves on and they go straight through, well! The middle and score easily.
Got to laugh.
Put three lampposts on the six yard line, more effective but lose the comedy content.

Anderson was out of position i thought

Wood pushed forward so Anderson came inside to mark Hopper which allowed an acre for Taylor to run into.

I don’t think we were great that half. Didn’t seem to have control in midfield. Very few passing moves. Lucky to go in 1-1 after being on top for first 39 minutes

We haven’t got out of first gear yet. Hopefully they will come out with a bit more urgency in the second half

Can't remember if we've had any chances apart from Faal's header?? They could've had 3 that half...

Colchester could have had 3 yet they have barely threatened. Sums up just how poor we are at the back.

Senior off injured as well?
Yes and it should have been a red for the very late challenge on him, looks like his knee, another potential long term injury

Poor. Utterly consistent with a team who are 20th as it stands in lge2. Grimsby winning away  currently compounding rover’s plight. A draw is simply no where near good enough in this game . And yet again there was no surprise in the equaliser coming .

jones slow to react

Do you have it in for Louis Jones, he couldn't be found at fault for that

What a load of sh*te. Poor team selection.

Anderson reminds me of that ship that got stuck in the Suez Canal.

Maxwell had a good chance which resulted in the corner goal

Just seems like they just need to make 2 forward passes on midfield and we’ll open up for them.

Another game where we may regret not making the most of a first half I think. We’ve been a lot more attacking than them but only an OG to show for it.

They seem happy to absorb the pressure and attack on the break and they are good at it. Their goal was a stitch up for Jones, no way he’s responsible for that. Our CBs are just too slow against their forwards. That’s it.

All round very poor.

Defence all over the place for the goal.
No control in midfield. Not attacking with any conviction or urgency.

Colchester havnt been great either, can see why both teams are where they are jn the league. Skill levels poor.

Hopefully we come out much better for the 2nd half.

Hate seeing the subs the aimlessly knocking the ball around at half time. Why don’t they have a few drills to go through. I know we’re in the lower leagues now but doesn’t mean we shouldn’t be professional about it

Great saves from Jones otherwise we go in behind.
No idea why we’ve got 3 waddling centre halves on, perhaps they can achieve a 45 minute clean sheet

We now go into the 2nd half with a defensive lineup of 2 that are slow as a tugboat and 1 who has no control and jumps into everything and tries to fly out and get infront of the striker and more often than not misses.
Any decent strikers would be licking their lips at this
