Sounds like Mo is a dead leg only.

Not so good news on Wood and Westbrooke though.

At least he won't be tempted to play Wood with the option removed thank god.

He has played well since he came back against Burton and then the FA cup against Accrington and didn’t really do much wrong against Colchester although he didn’t have much to do.

Another one that’s already made his mind up on a player after a few games in a different team playing a completely different style of football in a different type of league and different formation.

Probably never played football.

Utterly and totally irrelevant.

Wood was excellent at Accrington.
Looks like some on here have made their mind up about him even when they don’t see him play.  Yes he is slow but as long as he has a quick player along side him or 2 if we play a 3 centre back system then he will do all the proper defensive nitty gritty like actually defending.

He will also be a big influence on the training ground and in the changing room.
We need someone like him even if he doesn’t play.

Someone tell me who else is a proper leader.
I think Rowe and Anderson are a bit quiet imo. We need a Corporal.
A real talker.
Just remember what a massive X factor Jones was in that 2012/13 team.

Agree Campsall. He may not be the fastest but was Bobby Moore no he used his head another was Adams. As I have stated a few lines ago some people who haven't played football no matter what level have difficulty in understanding how difficult it is when playing in a new team. He'll be OK.

The only problem is he is picking up some injuries. That is almost inevitable for a centre back who is 38 yrs old.
But he has been there, done it, got the t shirt and his experience will be massive in helping to improve Olowu and Faulkner. I am sure Tom Anderson can learn a thing or two from him also.

Wood is 1st choice in that centre spot in the back 3 for me. Just can’t play him and Anderson together unless we don’t plan on leaving our 18 yard box

I hope he'll be OK but the clock is ticking.

The issue with him been there and done it, is he's not here and not doing it. His career so far might count for much but it's not rubbing off on those who need it who are playing week in week out.

Like Rob Jones, who would run through brick walls (and goalposts) once the brick walls start winning , it's a slippery slope.

He's got some catching up to do if he wants to live up to his reputation and the reason we brought him here, so he needs to be out on the pitch in the thick of it when those tough matches come round later this month.
