We don’t have many Tuesdays left to play this game.

I think both teams will want it on if at all possible.

How much better will the pitch be in another few weeks?
Probably not much.

We only need one of those Tuesdays matey to get it played.
Only 3 hound
19th March, 16th & 23rd April
You can’t count 26th March as we play on Fri 29th and both Clubs won’t want to play that week.

I also think Bradford in particular will not want to play on those April dates as they could be fighting for a play off place and will want Sat, Sat games only if possible.
So that leaves only 19th March and will the pitch be any better in 2 weeks than it will be tonight?

So will be interesting to see what happens if there is any more rain today before the match..

It won’t ultimately be up to Bradford when this is played. If the EFL wants this played in April, there is not much Bradford can do about this, whether they want a clear week or not.

I think Bradford was getting a few hours of light rain when I checked last night and is dry today.

They haven’t played in 2 weeks, so they will be fresh if it does go ahead.

I would play Molyneux on the left to help Maxwell deal with Halliday’s attacking threat.

It’s 6 degrees and cloudy at the minute. The rain stopped in the early hours. The forecast is up to 9 degrees and cloudy today.
The wind chill factor has made it seem 4° colder than the actual temperature over the last few days. The wind seems to have dropped but I am going into the City centre in an hour or so and will check.

I’ll trust idler’s ‘report’ when he broadcasts it.

It wouldn’t be altogether surprising but as it stands the Bradford City Twitter account is busily tweeting about the game tonight and no mention at all about pitch concerns or an inspection. With six hours to go this looks as it stands very much on.

“It’s a football pitch Captain. But not as we know it”.

As Spock would have said to Kirk.

He might also have said 'hit long and prosper'

Let's hope I'm not wishing someone could 'beam me up' half way through the game.

Anybody going tonight please be aware of the parking restrictions in the Forster Sqaure retail parks car parks. I think that it is a 3 hour limit with number plate recognition.

How many DRFC players will get injured today on that awful pitch no better than Cleethorpe beach and rough house tactics as the cup game

Apparently the stewards are currently trying to move three hippo’s out of the centre circle & four ostriches at each corner quadrant with their heads firmly in the sand.
