If offer him a contract for next season right now after that 45 minutes. Get a pre season in his legs and he'd be way above this level.
At 33 I don't think we should get too carried away with a half decent 45 minutes. Let's judge at the end of the season.
Ironside go off injured?
I'd say Biamou, TLT, and Haks are no brainers to try and sign for next season.
I thought he looked exactly what he is - a very talented footballer who hasn’t played a competitive match for two years. On that brief showing, once he regains that match sharpness he will be a real asset and a handful for opposing defenders. His timing in jumping for headers was every bit as good as Joe’s, and that’s praise indeed. If only he could have got an angle on that header, he’d have marked his debut with a goal.Hard to judge after 45 minutes on the pitch but I think GM should give him a year’s contract. As said before, Coventry fans speak very highly of him.

Would you give him a contract for £500 a week or £5 a week? You see it’s got to be binary. Now, try & follow my logic.Value to the team ‘divided’ by his performance vs an average L2 player + (or indeed -) the average L2 wage for a player in his position then, take an ordinary six sided dice & give it a good shake inside a receptacle (a whisky tumbler is my preference - I have rather a few of them) & if the dice lands on any figure above 1, offer him a years contract.
