Out for season. Hamstring tear. 10-12 weeks.

That's not great news for him or the club... but at least it takes him out of eyeshot from others.
I think he is worth a further year with perhaps the option for another - if his demands are within budget.

Well that gives us a decision to make them eh ? Surely it will all depend on medical advice…..if his recovery looks positive then I’m sure we’ll make him an offer ! It’ll put off any potential suitors close season.

On the bright side, apparently Taylor looking good in training!

Gutted. He's looked class for us imo.

Really disappointing. Hopefully he gets back early and can get a decent pre season with us before signing another short term deal.

Damn. This is a blow with the extra dimension he brought to the attack. Didn't take long for him to show the kind of strikes that are hard to defend. He has a great touch as has put some key passes on a plate for others to score.

Couldn't have come at a worse time for him given the time out he's already had. He'll be devasted, plus this puts into doubt a further contract until he can prove his fitness again. Maybe a pay per play contract for 6 months??

I think if he’d have kept his performance levels he’d have had League One clubs offering him 1 year deals.

His stats say he wins more in the air than Andy Cook. I don’t there will be any strikers at this level who can do that, be quick as Max and be as tidy a footballer all at the same time.

This is unrelated to his previous injury which I think was his quad.

If this is a totally unrelated injury then he can probably be fit in time for a full pre-season, which is what he clearly needs. If that’s the case, I would definitely give him another year if he wants that.

I think he's worth the risk if not too much wage.

It's not my money or my budget though.

Can we recall Goodman? Joe will need some minutes rest if possible. If he gets injured we’ve probably had it.

I suppose we shouldn’t be surprised, if he wasn’t an injury risk he’d probably be playing in at least league 1. Just thankful he’s helped us get to this point.

That's the thing with Biamou. We've already got a striker in Miller who's yet to make it back from injury, (and Lavery?) so there's risks there too. Do we really want to add to that right now?

It would be great if Biamou stuck around with the squad until the end of the season and was then invited back for pre season, but he might want to return to France as he's free to do whatever he wants.

A fit Biamou would be a no brainer to try and sign otherwise.

Thankfully Joe had his best game in a while on Tuesday, he was definitely showing signs of fatigue and max coming in deffo helped share the load..  hopefully these short breaks for Joe have recharged the batteries and he can plough on till the end of the season..

Think Goodman came back injured

Correct. Out injured for the season. Got injured on his debut in March and came straight back to us.
