Of course I was meaning last game of the normal league season, I assume they'll be a follow up thread for the first leg play offs, and then presentation event of the playoff winners trophy

Where did all the ‘big flags’ end up?

Like the red & white checkered ones we had when we played Stoke in the FA Cup, the big ‘Viva Rovers’ the ‘shirt banner’.

Are they gathering dust somewhere or have they sadly just ‘rotted away’?

It’d be awesome to have something similar on Saturday in what I think will be a packed South Stand.

I was saying the same thing at the Accy game.
The crowd was making some really big noise but the sodding Wild Rover song was doing its best to drown out the singing from the fans.

Agree also, let the fans noise greet the players and when that settles down, then maybe do Wild Rover. The Blades sing their Chip Butty song just as the teams line up to kick off.

Would it be possible for the club to get some people out and about around the ground with scarves and flags from the club shop?

I'm sure a large percentage of people never go into the club shop on a match day but might chuck a tenner at scarf at a big game like Saturday if it's put in front of them.

Just a thought on a day when we will have a bigger crowd in!

I’m off up to the attic now to see whatever flags, scarves, Donny Dogs and other red and white stuff I can find. I’ll be tying it all to the wife and kids later whether they like it or not. We all need to do a bit more today.
