Very valid point in the BBC report here though

The problem for Rotherham is they've often been clinical in getting out of League One, before being swamped by the Championship beast. Without spending millions they don't have, how do they take the next step? How do they compete against the big clubs in the second tier?

How do the smaller clubs survive if the dream ( if it is a dream) is realised. Brentford weren't exactly  on a shoestring, Luton have managed it  to a point and at least seem to be financially viable to become a yo-yo club, but many more have  all the debt and none of the hope really

Not against this. Would be nice to consolidate two lots of hate into one place; much more efficient.

There should be a ban on the use of his name.
Odious kitson

That'll be Stevenage dropping like a stone now! Hate the man but there's no denying he is a good manager at Lge 1/2 level.

You can't deny he has an excellent track record however?

If we had no manager and we had the option of finishing mid table with a average manager or Steve Evans who may get you promoted who would you choose?

Well I hope even more than ever we get up now, playing Rotherscum and Fat Man - fantastic home and away treats in store.

Nasty man that he is I've said it before I'd have him as our manager. I very much doubt that TB would allow it

It’s a no from me. And I’d shelve my support until such time as he fecked off. I wouldn’t be alone either .

The touchline entertainment from Evans, McCann and Cliff would be worth the ticket alone

It's funny how some people say they'd stop supporting the club if we signed Evans as manager, yet they were perfectly happy for us to sign a wife beater as boss.

I can't remember Evans doing anything as heinous as that.

The back handers and bankrupting Boston went a fair way down the dodgy road

A lot more to Evan’s than what he got convicted of. Horrible man .

Horrible man, but he’s made a great career for himself as a lower league manager over the years.
