We did Iberian. It was on the way to the quarter final at White Hart Lane. Rovers won 2-0 (or 2-1?) on the night. Hull were a decent Div 2 side too at the time. Big crowd. In the same cup run we had Malcolm Allison and his fedora in the Belle Vue dugout. Palace went up from the third division that season I think. That game ended 2-1I reckon so Hull was 2-0 I think. Can't be bothered to check. Got to belt up to Cheltenham to collect Alex.BobG
Hull was 4th round of the League Cup. Rovers won 2-1 on November 11th 1975.11v11 isn't telling me anything else sadly so I can't give the crowd. I think it was a tad over 20,000 but then, my memory.....The biggest crowd ever was 37,000 odd against Hull City in the 1930's against Raich Carter's team.BobG

My grandad always spoke fondly of the 4-3 Man City game. He said at the full time whistle everybody threw their hats into the air and few got theirs back. My grandad lost his!
