Grigg and Madden upfront?!

They will score against us. Both getting on but both great players.

Grigg is a busted flush (we definitely dogged a bullet there) but madden still knows his way around at this level. They could be this years Stockport, although how they finished the season wasn’t good.

L2 won’t be the walk over some people think next season. It’s all well and good GM saying we will win the league (or that’s the intention) but there will be a lot of other clubs thinking the same. Off the top of my head;

Chesterfield
Bradford
Salford
MK
Walsall
Crewe/crawley
Carlisle
Fleetwood
Gillingham
Swindon
Port Vale
Notts County

All the above will expect to be challenging. It won’t be easy

I just hope Crawley go up, so Rovers can stuff Crewe twice next season.

Yep Carlisle new owners will splash the cash. Looks like they didn’t spend it wisely in January though.

What is Fleetwood’s financial position? Do they still throw money at players?

Missed barrow off the list above. If they keep their squad they will obviously be in the mix again you’d have thought. Thats at least 13 other clubs that will have genuine designs on promotion. It’s a big job on, put it that way

As it stands I don’t think Fleetwood, Swindon and Port Vale will be challenging for the top 3 and possibly the 1st 2 mentioned even challenging for the top 7
Salford will need to throw a lot of money at it if they are going to be a top 7 team. Do their owners have the cash or even the will to spend it yet again.

Too early to make a serious prediction for how the league table might finish & I will do my prediction in the week before the 1st game in August as I always do.

Having said that as it Stands Now I would expect
Rovers, Bradford, MK Dons, Notts County, Chesterfield, Crewe/Crawley Gillingham, Wimbledon & Carlisle to be strong.
Lots of transfers over the next 2/3 months both in & out at all clubs which will give us a better picture of who may or may not be successful next season.

Will Grigg was a good player but he let that publicity go to his head, with the song etc

Williamson has done a great job at MK since he joined. I’d be surprised if he was sacked any time soon.

He might jump ship though as he seems to be sought after.

Gillingham sacked Clemence after our game there.
So a new manager will be in soon presumably. So dude do you think the new manager will be sacked before Christmas?
If they are not challenging you could be correct.  ;)

Just think they are clubs who if don’t have a great start will panic.
Something not quite right at MK how they capitulated in the play offs
Bradford were apparently on the verge of sacking Alexander before they strung a couple of results together. Gillingham are another club with little patience
