NHS is an issue without doubt but a bigger issue we face is social care, the amount of delayed discharges we see due to patients not having a safe environment do be discharged to is clogging the system. By safe I am referring to the care packages needed at home, such as bath hoists, stair rails not just carers coming in x times a day. The whole system is a bit like a shower with a plughole clogged with hair atm
They may mention they are putting extra money into the NHS however it is going to private companies. Ring a bell? Water, Railway, Energy etc this is all following the same pattern.
Makes you wonder with the looming GE whether Labour will acknowledge the big elephant in the room.Brexit.What do people on here think the big issues are that Labour should be confronting?I would also say the NHS and the public services. Need a wealth tax to pump more money into those and bring back which was previously pubic services back into public as privatization hasn't worked.
