Lost 1-0 again. Very pleasing outcome.

There will be some bins being kicked tonight.

I said on here that I just wanted a good game of football. I didn't get one; it was crap.

Congratulations to Saints though, they took their opportunity when it came, and defended stoutly.

L**ds 4th PO Final defeat.

6 isn’t it?

They weren't always at Wembley or in the same format. Their first bottle-job was over a two-legged affair that had a third game, I believe.

The very first play off season was 1986/87 and Leeds participated in this, and bottled this. It was an odd one - featuring sides 3, 4 and 5 in tier two, and Charlton, the fourth bottom side in tier 1. This ended up in a two legged final with Charlton playing Leeds which was a draw, then a replay was needed which Leeds bottled after extra time, going from 1 up in extra time to losing 2-1 in extra time. Probably their biggest bottle job performance, and in the very first season of the play offs ever. Set the tone for their subsequent bottling.

Let's face it, the actual result is pretty much irrelevant. They'll just spend the next 50 years telling people they won the game anyway.
