Unreal.we have a shot and we score

Not rocket science is it.

He is the luckiest manager on the planet. That goal was not down to his subs was it or lack of them.

This is so painful being an England supporter. It really should not be like this.

Did you enjoy that Campsall?

Rode our luck as it was never a penalty but thats football take your luck onwards and upwards

Rode our luck? We were miles better than them. Foden ran them ragged, and was unlucky not to score at least two.

caught Kane after the ball. Anywhere else on the pitch it’s a foul, so it’s a penalty.

I'm waiting for the old classic, "We got there despite Gareth Southgate, not because of him."

Fair play Gareth, absolutely spot on tonight
Subs were good ones but fcuk me he does leave them late. Kane offered very little again but guarantee he’ll start sun. The first half was the best we’ve played by a mile. I’d be fuming if we’d had a penalty given against us for that though.

Rode our luck but congratulations watkins superb finish think he needs to start his pace scares defenders
Rode our luck as it was never a penalty but thats football take your luck onwards and upwards
it was a penalty

We had one cleared off the line, one that hit the post, dominated them for large periods of the game, we were the better team, there was no luck rode at all

Playing against a team who won’t just sit back and challenge us to break them down might work in our favour tonight.

Good to hear that Gareth agrees with me.

We were dominant and deserved to go through.

What is different about this England team (compared to any other in my lifetime by a galactic aeon) is we have genuine quality that can just pop up and show it's face at any time.

We have absolute quality throughout the team and a bench beyond compare of most nations but some people think we only have about 3 world class players, get a life this squad is quality

Our only weakness was set pieces. I winced every time and don't think we won a header in the second half. But the Spanish will pose a different kind of threat to the Dutch.

All those in the media and on this forum who have been criticising Southgate are you all going to keep talking bullshit or give it a rest now??  As I said earlier, Southgate is the best manager for England and McCann is the best manager for Rovers. We are in the final! What more do you f**king want??

I'm waiting for the old classic, "We got there despite Gareth Southgate, not because of him."

Not tonight, we were the better side, 1st half could have blown them away. 2nd half more cagey, but Southgate got his subs right & we deserved to win the game.

Well he has got us to another final
So credit where credit is due.

Now let’s go and win it.  Spain are a very good side but as we showed in that 1st half tonight so are we.
Spain are slight favourites but no question we can win this.
It’s all about belief and bravery and I gust hope the subs come on a little earlier if needed.
I thought Palmer and Watkins should have come on 10/15 mins earlier.
But it worked and we won with 1 second of normal time remaining.
Yes we are cutting it fine aren’t we but we are finding a way and that’s what counts.
The 1st half I thought we looked like Euro Champions and should with a bit of luck have gone in 3-1 up at H/T

We will need to play like the 1st half for 90 mins on Sunday if we are going to win it.

Come on England this is our time. It has to be.

The first time ever in the history of football that we’ve reached a final on foreign soil and we have plebs saying we rode our luck.
Get a grip

I’ve got my ticket for Sunday, can’t wait

Ist half yes I did. We looked like a team on a mission. 2nd half was attritional but we got the job done.
Thanks for asking.
Not sure why you picked me out to ask?
Everything I have posted previously has been what 99% of England fans, commentators, pundits etc have been saying.

Attritional, come on, jesus
It’s a euros final, don’t really think we’re going to batter them for 90 mins.
We’ve got it done in 90 mins.
It was a great performance, and takes us to our first final ever on foreign soil

Stuck on penalty. There's way too many of those challenges, where the defender gets nowhere near the ball but makes it inevitable that the player shooting or clearing gets hurt.

If you go in that high when the player playing the ball must follow through and crash into your studs, you either get the ball or it's a foul.

Dead simple.

Even if we lose the final (and Spain are awesome) Southgate DOES NOT deserve the negativity and criticism he has received. I am absolutely fuming and if I say what I think I will be banned!!

Yes the 2nd half was attritional. Please don’t tell me we were playing flowing football.
Yes credit to Netherlands they stifled us.
No I don’t expect us to dominate for the entire match.
But yes it was attritional.

Crikey dickos I have said it as it is. It was a massively improved performance and we deserved to win.

But nobody plays 90 minutes of free flowing football, that was as good a performance as you’ll see in a major tournament semi final.

From 1966 to 2018, "our football soul" usually meant, on average, losing in the QF of the Euros and the 2nd round of the WC.

I can’t believe you’re still spouting this negative tripe.
Stop embarrassing yourself.

Nobody is saying Southgate is a world class manager but the job he’s done is unbelievable when you compare the state of the national team when he took over once state it’s in now
