Was hoping for a bit more experience at first team football & a bit of a “unit” like TLT. Time will tell, hopefully a shrewd move. Grant knows how much a solid keeper helped turn our season round.

His last loan at Bromley produced one appearance in 6 months.

No confirmation. His agent was at the EcoPower today and plonked a photo on Twitter with a message “a quick trip up North” or words to that effect. Then there were other tweets that mentioned 2 keepers, one of which was TSL.

Don’t know if we’d get someone to pay Lawler’s wages, with his recent CV anyway. So it would be a lot of the budget gone on keepers.

So what is the problem with being in the “same position”? What do you think is the answer? The best keepers tend to be swept up by EFL Championship clubs and PL clubs. They have 3 or even 4 on their books. How likely is it that you can find really good material elsewhere? I think loans are the best option.

Still makes me wonder what the plan is for both keepers. The keeper kit is out and neither of them has done the photoshoot to promote it.
