And by the way we could bench a second 11 that could perform in this league too!

Feels like you are trying to shoehorn all the best players in there. A diamond in midfield would be fine to get two up top but Gibson and Moly don’t suit that system.

TSL
Sterry  Wood  Anderson  Maxwell
Bailey  Close
Moly  Sbarra  Gibson
Ironside/Sharp

Rotate Ironside and Sharp to keep them both fairly fresh.
Hurst, Yeboah and Miller impact players off the bench for when defenses are tiring.
The only concern would be the CM partner for Bailey. Baileys strong defense game would probably allow Close to roam abit more and impact the game going forward without having to worry about his own defensive game

Personally I would sacrifice the second DCM for an additional attacker. Bailey can do a job on his own in there. Imagine having Moly Gibson and Sbarra supplying Joe and Billy? That's not me shoehorning, it's what I think would provide goals/results AND be great to watch.

There is no right or wrong answer here, that's why it's titled pick YOUR starting 11.

Whatever it ends up being I think we can all agree we have a great squad now and in a much better position than the last 3,4,5yrs.

It would be insane to change our system / formation that served us so well at the end of last season, to shoehorn Billy into the side. There’s no room for sentiment. I love the lad to bits but our system relies heavily on Joe being the focal point of the attack and his hold up play. I see Biily being used in much the same way as Max was. It will take the burden off Joe and allow him a rest.

This is the correct answer.

Our system relied heavily on Joe because we had no other option.

I don't think it should be labelled insane to now look at other systems based on our current resources and squad????

But as above its opinions

Leave it to Grant.

At the moment there are 2 heroes at Rovers; Terry and Grant. They're the reason why Billy and so many other quality signings are here.

None of them will let us down.
