Bit of both. Hard to play against a side that are so good off the ball. If we go through we aren’t good enough to be tippy-tappy against the Swiss.

The u21’s are an excellent squad they need to step and be part of the main squad prior to WC qualifiers.

In 1966 the Italian team were pelted when they went through the airport back in Italy. They had lost to North Korea in the group though.

Proper capitulation from a poor Italian side, maybe a tournament too soon for many in the squad but you still expect more from a  Spalletti team.

Switzerland now have momentum, if England get to play them they will need a massive improvement to still have interest in this tournament.

Hopefully Southgate can actually play his best team?
