Signed for Port Vale. Incredible signing. Not sure how they have landed that one.

The Moore effect. Say what you like about him, players want to come and play for him.

This is the type of singing we’d need to replace Craig. It’s not realistic given what we’ve already done but here’s hoping

I know he did but feels largely irrelevant here. How can they afford his wages?

Didn’t he pick up a bad injury at Wednesday? Maybe has something to do with it? There is usually a reason you go from first name on the team sheet at Sheffield Wednesday to League Two Port Vale so quickly.

10 signings for port Vale, now.

It’s getting competitive, isn’t it?

How can rejoining a former manager be irrelevant?

They may do well…but they may also (like us
Last season) have a slow start in a different league with lots of new players to bed in.

He was on loan at Blackpool from February so hadn’t been any name on the team sheet for 7 months. Even before he left he only made the bench for 1 of the last 4 games so Rohl probably just didn’t fancy him.

And Blackpool finished 8th in League 1.

Their signings look impressive and are proven.

Tolaj from Aldershot is also very good, he caught my eye when they beat Stockport in the FA cup.

Moore isn’t paying his wages is he.

The point being nobody knows what players have accepted in terms of wages and clauses in their contracts. We can only nudge on merit. Whether Port Vale can afford it or not, he's signed. We all recall Bury signing really good players and time proved, they couldn't afford it. Maybe Port Vale can, who knows. Football is full of risks and compromises.

He's also very good at playing players out of position. Hopefully he does again.

And yet players are queueing up to drop down to the basement of the football league, presumably taking hefty pay cuts, to play for him.

Still a godawful manager.

In terms of points win per game, Jan 2020 - Jan 2021 is one of the best 12 months we've ever had. Certainly in the top few in my lifetime.

Wednesday were dire under Moore, we probably wouldve beat them. They only looked a decent side when Rohl got hold of them.

Moore isn’t paying his wages is he.

Port Vale have given Moore an open checkbook have'nt they? hence giving Moore a 5 year contract in the first place,It don't guarantee success though doe's it?

You reckon we played shite for 12 months and won 61 points from 30 matches in L1?

We played them when Moore was there. They beat us comfortably, twice.

with those loan signings from premiership clubs i expected  them to be easily midtable   has Robbie Williams coughed up any money yet ?

Keep reading that one of their benefactors has just copped for something like £180m

How Moore got that team relegated is hard to fathom  which makes me think of a new thread for the sight
