11,000 Bricks delivered to a field ....
« on July 12, 2024, 10:26:54 am by Donnywolf »
... near to Doncaster

It's really not good enough is it ?

I mean Labour said in Manifesto AND every time they spoke on the subject that they would build 1.5 million new houses in their first term

That's 300,000 per year or if they work Saturdays and Sundays 821 houses a day

So 11000 bricks delivered to one field is a f****** s*** start imo

Ratting on their promises already

( Yes I'm being ironic again )

Doesn't that count as a new hospital?

funny that police in Brixton report 10,999 stolen

but the  rumour on the Tory "sour grape" vine

is Bryn Davies, Baron Davies of Brixton is having a house built there

I laughed at that BST but it really shouldn't be funny.

Was it a green or brown field though JT?
11000 bricks would build a couple of small houses I suppose, subject to planning permission of course.

It was a Green Field site at side of River Don , but it flooded and being full of S***E when it dried it was a brown field Site

Labour said they would stop the dumping in rivers lakes and streams and they've done nowt

Bloody rubbish Labour , a week on and you've done nowt on Environment either

( Yes double irony in one Thread )

Come on Starmer, you're getting behind. It's time to get some weekend overtime in to catch up.

Yes , under the last regime it would have been one of the 40 , still leaving 38 ( or very close ) not even started.

11000 bricks would build a couple of small houses I suppose, subject to planning permission of course.

I picked 11000 because when I had my place built , the Builders gave me a price very close to one of the other quotes

I think he was hoping to get my business and then strategically make small cuts I wouldn't notice

Despite it being a fixed price we agreed , he then delivered an extra bill to reflect the extras he had incurred. One was Bricks. He ordered them from Normanton as I had been a chosen some.

He said I had to get an extra 3000 to finish off.

I went out and counted the bricks in my Bungalow , it was more difficult to do than I thought , but it was very very close to 11000

I then drove to Normanton to check if they had delivered any more to my Site or the Builder and they said no

I didn't pay him an extra penny and it was great to tell him that there were roughly 11000 bricks in my property and where did he put the other 3000. His jaw just dropped lol
