EFL live game schedule

If you follow the link here;

https://www.efl.com/how-to-watch/upcoming-tv-games/

you can then enter the name of any team, i.e. Doncaster Rovers, and it will show you exactly what games are being shown live.

Could be handy!

Did I see something that the next 2 months worth will be announced in August for October onwards?

They said that before the season starts, we will have confirmation on games from end September until third round of FA Cup. Assume they will do this probably on the night before.

To date the only confirmation you have is until end of September.

Okay I have 3 really easy questions, because all this is confusing the hell out of me….
1) So I put in Donny, and I get the Salford away game, is that on sky or the replacement for IFollow?

2) I can’t find any details on the opening game v Stanley, how do I watch that? (I am an overseas viewer)

3)Who am I supposed to be paying for a full season ticket?

Cheers

It must be my link as I click on league 2 put in Donny and it says no available options with the only match listed on the 10th being MK v Bradford.
Hmmmm?

I got to the stage where Rovers v Accrington is listed and an option to go to the Match Centre. On clicking that you are given a link to a purchase a pass for Live Stream. On clicking that, a 404 File/Page Not Found error comes up. It all seems a bit of a shambles and as for Rovers+ …. well, still no information on this/no option to buy a season pass or even details on obtaining a match pass. If indeed this is the replacement for iFollow, with just three weeks to go to the start of the season, as exiles, we are still in the dark about how this can be accessed.

That looks like the next stage, and as Scilly says we’ve had nothing from the club.

Can anyone suggest the most appropriate departments email address….?

There's a bit of confusion here.

The link I put up is purely just when DRFC, or any EFL club really, has its games shown live on Sky+, and is not to be confuced with anything else.

iFollow is being replaced but the detail is still to be announced. Rovers have opted out of the collective EFL deal in order to provide more specific and nuanced coverage of their own content. This is marketed under Rovers+.

I'll ask the club to share what they have.

The EFL have also recently struck a deal with CBS to show a lot more games, this is going to get very confusing!

Oh lord! It’s going to get confusing? Crikey, I’m already lost.
All the exiles want is to be able to watch Rovers live for the season as we have done via IFollow for at least the last 4 years, happy to pay whatever…. So …

Come on Rovers give us some clue what we need to do…

There must be a problem with the site, I’ve only seen Salford and Harrogate which is a September match.

Mainly, the different views are down to poor user experience design on the site.
The filter for the matches is being applied in a very specific order (competition selection first, then team selection). And when you select the competition along the top first it's not just filtering the list of teams, it's also filtering the matches for that specific competition.

To see what I mean try the following:

- Go to the link, leave the top selector on "All competitions", select Donny from the list
-- You should see 3 matches, Accrington, Salford and Port Vale

- Refresh the page, this time select "League Two" along the top, then select Donny,
-- This time you'll see 2 matches, Accy and PV, because you filtered all the Cup games out by selecting League Two first

- However, if you now click "All Competitions" again, it won't add the Salford game back in, because the filter doesn't get re-applied until you remove the club and re-select it.

Shit UX design with too many assumptions about user behaviour baked in. Not sure about the Harrogate comment though - I can't see that anywhere.

Suspect it’s geographical if you are in Spain, sky sports+ streaming is domestic market only while the Harrogate game is on one of the sky sports tv channels

No games at all coming up for me. Obviously due to my location (Ireland). I'm going to get sky sports and watch whatever games are on that sky plus.

When are October fixtures expected to be announced in terms of moving? No doubt they'll move the M180 derby

All they have committed to is “before the season starts”. I think we all suspect that will likely be one minute before kick off on first game of season.

May be a silly question, but does anyone know how you select the rovers match through bt broadband on TV. I’ve got a sky box and I can see how I select it on my tv. But my dad has a bit box and it just shows the no dons v Bradford game.
