Sickening is absolutely the right word for it. I felt physically sick when I read about it this afternoon. The world is utterly f**ked right now.

It’s since been said it was a holiday club holding a dance class for 2 - 6 year olds.

I feel exactly the same as you describe having 2 children myself in that age bracket. Of all the stuff going on recently this has hit me different.

I simply can't comprehend this tragedy in Southport as a grandparent to a boy and girl aged 4 and 2 .

It just makes me numb to think of the heartbreak .

Children are precious , a gift .

Absolutely sickening , I've no more words .

My great grandson is just turned one year old.

I dread him growing up in this evil f*cking world.

Tragic. No others words.
They have spoken about a man doing this.
He is 17. He is still a child.
Goodness knows what has motivated this.

''In the statement, Merseyside police added:

A name has been shared on social media in connection with the suspect in the incident in Southport. This name is incorrect and we would urge people not to speculate on details of the incident while the investigation is ongoing.

This incident is not currently being treated as terror-related and we are not looking for anyone else in connection with it''

As a parent this moves you, unerves you and makes you despair for our kids futures.

Regardless of the perpetrator, it makes you wonder in what direction this nation is drifting?

I’ve asked myself the same question .
But here’s another question.
What is the supreme function of the governments of any country? The number one thing they must provide for ? Above all else?

This is a truly horrific event and my heart goes out to all those affected.

But we have to keep things in perspective. These events happen rarely and we have millions and millions of kids. The overwhelming majority will never come close to experiencing anything like this, and will be safe and happy. Kids are safer now than ever before and we must not lose sight of that.

The direction of travel say's different.

When you look at the direction of travel we are now set upon do you really think you are safe in thinking what you just have?

I can't predict the future no more than the next man but i do know that if we continue down this road we an expect things like this to become more frequent.

Where does it end for a Liberal, laid back society ?

Kids had much more unsupervised freedom in the past. Now their lives are controlled by terrified parents, or helicopter parents as they are known as these days.

Which bit of what I said don't you agree with?

That this event is awful and my heart goes out to those affected?

That these events are very rare?

That kids are safer now than ever?

What sort of response do you want to this event?

I'm not engaging with you further on this.
Your an absolute clown who thrives on the attention you receive on here.

You must really lead a sad, little and lonely life.

You wouldn't dare say that to the families of those kids murdered by that 2nd generation immigrant.

For the record, our kids are absolutely NOT safer especially after unchecked illegal and legal immigrants are flooding into our country.
