Great, if there's one thing that will kill my match day its having a 12.30 kick off.

Rubbish inconvenient time for me, kills the match atmosphere stone dead and the turnout is always down.

I hope Sky go bust.

It's only one 12.30 home kick off up to Christmas.

That could easily have been the case had we had derbies v Rotherham, Barnsley etc etc.

Do we think football will die without Sky or is it more likely with?

Surprised Grimsby doesn't get moved like it used to anyway. Just means an early train instead

Yeah not overly fussed about Grimsby away being moved. Early train, chippy lunch, couple of pints and home for 5pm kick off. Good day out

Individual games being moved will always suit someone's particular circumstances, but the wider picture here is that again, TV rights are chipping away at match going fans' experience. Sky want people subscribing to them and watching on the box, not going to games. It's a real shame but we just accept these things in this country. And you can't blame the clubs too much in this as the PL and Sky/other broadcasters have got them over a barrel.

This represents the game continuing to go in an unsavoury direction if you ask me.

Thing is, not enough people are willing to pay high enough prices for match tickets so that gate receipts to cover anywhere near enough of the turnover to not dance to the tv pipers tune.
When you add the tv deal to the 'solidarity payment' funded by tv money to premiership clubs it makes up such a high proportionate of our turnover.

What’s the point in the 3pm blackout if games are just moved to put them on tv anyway. Messing fans about. Season ticket holders who have commitments can’t bank on games being Saturday at 3 or the Tuesday night night slot. Wouldn’t suprise me to see a drop in season ticket sales and match day attendances but hey what do sky care. The EFL has completely sold out
