Rovers+

After last nights Rovers+ disaster I received this email. Fair play to Liam Holden for the reply.

Hi. Hope you're well.
We wish to apologise to you for the issue with the video match pass for Tuesday's game at Salford City.
We were informed close to kick off by the EFL that Carabao Cup matches should not be made available to stream for international supporters, as well as domestic. This was in contradiction to information we had been supplied with earlier in the summer - hence why we advertised Carabao Cup matches as part of the package you purchased. We have sought clarification from the EFL on the issue and will report back to you where possible.
To confirm, your package includes all our matches in Sky Bet League as well as all Bristol Street Motors Trophy matches up to the semi-final. We are unsure what the regulations will be for the semis and final of the BSM Trophy, but will advise if/when we reach those stages.

In addition, we wish to offer our sincere apologies for the commentary outage at the start of the game against Salford. This impacted all three feeds from the stadium (our own, Salford's and the neutral commentator providing commentary for the Sky Sports+ broadcast). We understand this was due to a production error with the EFL's production partners but have sought further clarification.

We understand the issues will have been a frustrating one for you, as it was for us - particularly after a largely positive launch day for the new Rovers+ service from the Accrington Stanley game.
Please be assured that we are working hard to ensure we deliver the best possible service to our supporters, including by working closely with our website providers, the EFL and their production partners to overcome issues such as the one experienced on Tuesday.

Many apologies to you again. Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
Thanks
Liam Hoden

The commentator on SkySports+ did say they were having issues with the feed for the commentary. Suggested the rain wasn't helping.

But we did have the benefit of the commentary from the crowd. I learnt the referee was a w**ker for example.

I think that was a joke. A bit of rain shouldn’t stop commentary from working especially considering the feed was fine
