Biggo gone back to Shrewsbury after a rather underwhelming loan at Carlisle.
I was one of this lads biggest critics but I’d still take him back over Clifton and Sbarra.

Will Longbottom has turned into a goal machine at Guiseley, 24 goals in 31 games.

26 years old now, maybe worth another look?

I never was confident when JM was taking a pen.
This one was saved too but he knocked in the rebound.

He’s one of the worst regular penalty takers I’ve ever seen, must have missed more than he scored for us.

He’s captain at Shrewsbury these days (not sure if that’s regular or filling in).

He’s been made captain since Gareth Ainsworth took over

He wasn't a great finisher generally. But what he did have was bags of energy and commitment and a great football brain that meant he was always in the right position to get a shot on goal. All that goes out the window when it comes to penalty taking though.

Marquis has a career penalty success rate of 60 per cent and a penalty success rate of 42 per cent for us. These are normal time statistics, so his miss against Charlton in the semi final second leg isn’t included, which will drag his statistics down further.

"Old" captain rumoured to be on the way out.

They are certainly spending some money there, with the signings they’ve made recently, Gavin Whyte, Liam Boyce, Shane Ferguson. The manager has left Purple Bricks FC / Larne FC to take over the next signing they will make will everyone’s favourite Wrexham player

And a very commendable record at Bradford Park Avenue before joining Guiseley, scoring just shy of a goal every three games (18 goals in 58 games).

In similarly obscure news, Rodney Kongolo scored for Roda JC in the Dutch second tier at the weekend. It's a good job he knows where the net is, as they also have Tiago Cukur up front.

Crikey! And one of my favourite teams too. Didn't know Cukur was there though. Probably cos he never scores!

Is that from visits to Aachen & Maastricht Bob? Roda are in Kerkrade - the strange place with the Dutch-German border running down the centre of a long urban road - the place on the German side is called Herzogenrath. Sittard is very close by and Colin Cramb and Mike Jeffrey have both played for Fortuna Sittard.

Also saw Dire Straits live in the Roda Hal in the late 1970's before they got really famous

Yes Brian. I liked the name. We saw the ground once or twice driving by. And it's a completely bonkers place sat right astride an international border. It's just a place you have to love. Lol.
