Clive Freeman who was with us in 93/94 has passed away.  Scored a famous goal in the FA cup the season before he joined us

Oh wow. I remember his goal being on Match of the Day, then us signing him not too long afterwards. He was a good player for us. That’s very sad news.

Harrison Biggins has just gone on loan to Carlisle.

That's a weird one isn't it. Do Shrews just not fancy him? Signing a 28 year old then sending him out on loan until the end of the season after 3 games doesn't speak well of his future chances.

He was probably the best we could get for the money on offer at that time though.
Not his fault that we were literally out of his league.

He was, but it was a ridiculous statement re playing in the championship again.

I didn't realise that Gareth Taylor the Man Citeh women's manager is the same Gareth Taylor who played 31 games for us towards the end of his playing career.

Gareth Taylor’s assistant is Ricky Passmore from Armthorpe. He also managed Leeds United and Notts County ladies FC.

He’s only on loan at Carlisle. They are poor but at least he can escape at end of the season.
