I think BB won this thread with his opening shot.If Mrs Mug is away and I can't be arsed to make anything, I regularly have a tin of Peeled Plum (not chopped, you've got teeth haven't you?) Tomatoes, cooked with a large dollop of Marmite stirred in, on a slice of wholemeal bread. I then stick a minimum of 4 of my home made XL pickled onions on top and slather the lot in Brown sauce and black pepper.After eating I then have another slice of bread and bItter to mop up any residue and a cup of brown Yorkshire Tea to sluice it all down.(A variant can be made using baked beans instead of tomatoes).I trump a lot and don't have any friends, but they are sacrifices I'm willing to make in the pursuit of culinary perfection.
