How many times have Rovers hit woodwork so far this season, I think it is close on 10?

I asked the same question today. Not sure about 10 times, but somewhere near that I reckon.

Several near misses today, if just one had gone in it would have eased everyone’s nerves including mine.

Agreed Pancho, at 1-0 we always had to be wary of a breakaway Morecambe goal or a free kick launched into our box which just needed a good connection.
A second goal would have eased those fears and we would have been able to play with more freedom.
As has been said, on another day some of those efforts which hit the woodwork go in and we win comfortably.

I wonder when ‘the woodwork’ actually made of wood was last used in a top level game in England? Or Belle Vue? Early 70s maybe.

I remember ours at school being wooden and square rather than round in cross-section. Made for some odd rebounds. I remember these being replaced with steel ones mid 70s.
