Does that mean we now play at the Pass Logistics Stadium? Or is there a separate deal in the works for the ground?

Wonder if the new airport operators would want to sponsor the stadium

It would be interesting to know what the stadium would be called if a new sponsor wasn't obtained......as it's never really been given a name to reflect the area.

The Lakeside perhaps....or how about the Middle Bank Bowl ?!?!

Well, it's good as once again, we've kept it local rather than selling out to companies who have no association with the town.

It really surprised me how little it costs to sponsor shirts, stadiums etc at this level, surprisingly cheap compared to other forms of marketing.

Is there any value in it though? It’s cheap because there’s likely to be little to no value.

Meet people from out of town, many still say 'Belle Vue'.  I think for many of us that would resonate.

Whoever the sponsors are could hang their name somewhere in the name, I wouldn't mind that.

I know nothing of how a company operates, but as of Feb 2024 they were registered as a dormant company on Companies house

I've seen it be more and less than that for two local clubs. But that's not massive in terms of marketing spend at all.

Depends, to a small company looking to grow the exposure could be huge. I daresay eco power have done very well out of it.  It's way more exposure than things like TV advertising these days.

For one company I worked for who sponsored a football league club it was akin to a charity donation, all for community engagement, no other benefit.

It will always be the ‘Keepmoat’ in my ‘head’ just as Belle Vue was never going to be replaced by the ‘Earth Stadium’.

I get for the Chairman & Directors it has to be about ‘money streams’, totally understand & accepted but, as a supporter, it’s all about ‘association’.

Our first game in ‘our’ new all seater stadium, with a crowd of 15,000+, a comprehensive home win against another Yorkshire club, the sun shone literally & metaphorically on a new dawn on our club.

We went on to gain Championship status at ‘The Keepmoat’.

And regardless whether or not the name actually ‘belongs’ to a building company, the very word Keepmoat conjures up images of a ‘castle’ not easily breached on any terms.

Fitting? A damn sight more so than ‘Eco Power (skips)’!

4 years ago when they announced it in the sponsors lounge as the biggest sponsorship deal ever, I have since had it on good authority it was £ 500,000 per year, so £ 2,000,000 over the 4 year period

I would be surprised if that was a correct figure.
No wonder they are in financial difficulty. If that’s also true, as I only have heard it from this forum. I have no definitive info that they are in financial difficulties.

It is only the skip hire side they have sold not the waste transfer bit, so from what I get told they are not in financial trouble, I think there is a little more to it than finance, maybe a dummy being spit out if TB refused to sell

That would be extremely high, no way will it be that high.

Yes, the Chairman linked to 2 other similar Companies at Harworth, one Dormant the other a Micro company, with 32 Staff, the FreePress article states 50 Staff so maybe gone through an expansion period and they see shirt sponsorship as a good way to advertise, they did have a Board on the East stand the other night, so good luck, but Don’t expect vast sums of money being put into the club ,at the moment.
