It is a bit like listening to Norman Collier commentating, Rovers kit still not working quite right.

Lawlor shouldn’t be getting beaten at the near post there.

Ffs 2-0

Olowu distribution is woeful in the last 15 minutes. Casually chipping into no man’s land, and heading to Everton midfielders.

Getting stretched now and tough to get anything out of this - I would happily walk off now without any more injuries...

Hope everyone's had a good trip. Enjoyed watching Rovers make a game of it.

Just need a clean bill of health and it's mission accomplished.

Very good tonight…tanacious, battler, switched on… needs to play a lot more this season.

Everton we’re a lot better than last season, probably saving their managers job

Everton started with 5 players who played in the Premiership Saturday and brought on others who played in that game also - no shame in that at all.  They got a couple of soft late goals and deserved to win, but we gave a good account of ourselves...

I know there's levels but we didn't lay a glove on them.

The 6 players who didn’t start at the weekend:

Seamus Coleman - 364 Premier League games
Jake O’Brien - signed for £16 million
Beto -  £25 million
James Garner - £16 million
Ndiaye - £20 million
Lindstrom - £21 million
