Has anyone tried to get tickets then?Has anyone got some?I have to say I never saw them live, despite really liking the first album. I started going off them after the second album. All those Abbey Rd strings... Wonderwall put me off.

They distilled the whole of British rock music up until that point into a dozen or so tracks. The ultimate example of the Hegelian dialect process in rock music, all formulated inside Noel Gallagher's head while he was on the Inspirals' tour bus. It's the Beatles, T Rex, Glam Rock, Punk, Jesus & Mary Chain and Stone Roses all cooked up into a new mix. After that they were just a shite Beatles tribute band.

Tried for 5 hours and gave up.Saw them 4 times and they were incredible each time. I’m gutted to miss out.Apparently 14m people tried for tickets. Not bad for a “tribute band”.

I'm not even sure the last tour sold out. Amazing how a band can grow by simply not being around.
Music is the soundtrack of our lives. Special times = Special music.
