Funny old game

Everything that could go wrong, went wrong last night.

I firmly believe we are a better team with better players than Chesterfield, but Everything just fell for them.
Like that dobra, who a few are clamouring to sign, do I think he's anything special? Of course not, he just stood out because he was lucky enough for everything to fall for him.

Yeah, they have had a cheeky double over us, which is a bit annoying. But I'd take that to be where we are relative to them in the league.

On Monday, we play a premier league team who are bang in form, and who have just beat man utd at old Trafford, and I don't think we will lose by as big of a margin.

Just write yesterday off.

On that subject, I took a peep at the BBC stats of the game and I’m not sure many would have bothered after that horror show. But, and here’s the thing about stats can be misleading, if you didn’t know the score and just looked at the stats, most people would have said Donny must have won that game.

We had twice as many shots, marginally more possession, better at this, that and the other. And yet, onion bag finding, we were horrendous! And, stopping goals on target from hitting the back of our net.

Watching it was hard work so hats off to those who went and witnessed it. I hope we don’t see the likes of it ever again.

Think our overall play with the ball was the best it’s been for a long time. But, for all our fantastic defensive displays of late last night was the worst of the season.
