Some favourable results there. I for one can’t wait for Monday to be over with and get back to league action with hopefully another 3 points on the board. The business end of the season starts there.

It just goes to show how difficult it is to predict the outcome of football matches.
Looking back at the OP on this thread you would have thought that the higher up the table teams would overall have had better results than they got.

Colchester were the obvious ones that could cause an "Upset", underlying numbers show they were pretty decent and form was for them and against Walsall.

Notts County are better than us. The rest aren't from what I've seen especially Bradford.

Notts have got the best striker in the league. It helps.

I think Bradford have turned a corner so they'll be a threat.

I said a few weeks ago that it'll be us, Bradford and Notts going for the championship in the last couple of games.

i was certain he would be sold in the transfer window (like Bogle was sold by Grimsby)- that's why I never backed him - I knew he was the best striker in the league (being a Gambia International gives a very small clue to his ability  ;) ) very very early in the season

it was obvious Jatta would be sold in January when they bought this one - a ready made replacement !!!!

I can't get it right every time  :crying: :crying: :crying:

Rovers have got away with it largely, I thought they would have tumbled a lot further than they have considering how tight the division is. They need to make sure next Saturday with Grimsby. I will be there!

If it does end up like that we have the opportunity to make it happen for ourselves.
I hope it doesn’t end up like it did under Fergie junior in that three horse race, with regards to winning the league.

It's a strange situation, Padge. Chesterfield are 10 points behind us, yet they've f*cking buried us twice.

A few weeks ago people were saying we should forget about Walsall and that the title was theirs.
Four games ago they had 58 points and something like a 15 point lead.
They now have just one more point and the gap to second place is only six points.
With 16/17 games to go we are still well in contention and have all to play for.
