‘Only a couple of seats left on the coaches to Barrow’.

That REALLY ought to be in a song lyric somewhere!

‘Oh she’s leaving, on a midnight coach to Barrow

Said she’s gotta find, some kinda peace of mind

Well I would rather live in her world

Than be left on my allotment, with a marrow’

I know it’s plagiarism but give a man a bit of credit!

I've decided we're going as well, last minute. Dunno why. I've been both times so far. Horrid little shithole in the arsehole of nowhere.

Easy to park on the streets around the ground, mind. There's a housing estate nearby that doesn't require a permit.

You're not allowed to call another town a shit hole on here anymore.

I got severely reprimanded for using such hurty words.

Nope, the point was society is happy to say things like that about places like Grimsby, Blackpool, Swindon. Yet society wouldn't let you get away with saying it about places such as Croydon, Bradford. I'll let you work out what the difference is. But one set of poverty is treated as a joke, another is treated as a serious issue that's failed people and needs addressing

Being poor is not an excuse to be a scruffy bas**rd.
You can pick your dogs shit up after it even if you don't have much money.
You can keep your garden relatively tidy without having much money.
And I've seen first hand in Bradford down the railway embankments household waste, including hundreds of nappies just thrown over the back garden walls.

These are shit holes because people treat the place they live as a shit hole.

I was brought up in balby, our house backed onto peglars.
We didn't have much money but my mum kept our back yard tidy but our neighbours  yards were disgusting.
So yes, I lived in a shit hole because of scruffy bas**rds.

I think the last few posts ought to be in the ‘off topic’ posts before I give my opinion of Keighley.

You're proving my point with lazy stereotypes my friend. You wouldn't get away with saying watch out in Bradford someone's bound to drive into you. Watch out in Croydon you're bound to get stabbed. But for whatever reason white working class is fair game for mocking. Example being this thread which was about busses to an away game but was taken as an opportunity to mock white working class

Anyway,  end of. Agree or disagree. As someone has said this is off topic and not for away bussses to the might Barrow

I'm sure that lots of visitors think Donny is a shithole also.... and if it was a competition, I'm not sure we would make the play-offs.....

Totally and Utterly spot on.
Lived in Cornwall for 30 years and some of the visitors did their utmost to make a bloody mess before they left.
Hope the buses get nice and fully booked btw.

A very quiet away end currently outnumbers the home fans? Don't think they fancy it?
