Kettering Tickets......
« on November 04, 2024, 12:59:56 pm by allezallezallez »
According to Google KFC have a capacity of 2.5k....what do we think the allocation will be?

I'm a long standing ST holder, but haven't been away for the last few seasons.....under the newish points system do I have a chance of getting a ticket by just being a ST holder?

Will need 60+ points at the very least I reckon for a ticket. Probs more.

I would say 400 max so wouldn’t think you would stand a chance of getting a ticket

we will maybe get 300 tickets,   there was 310 brave lads and lasses on satdi  ( i was one), who more than likely go to many away games.   so the chances of anyone other than high loyalty points holders is zilch.   I have 85, and i havnt made every game.. SO wouldnt be surprised if they go before i get the chance to buy one..

thought that may be the case....

How does the points system work...do they roll over from previous seasons or restart each season?

As I say I've not been away much in recent years, so fair play to the hardcore goers......never thought I see the day when we needed an points system.

Do they deliver, don't think I'd want to wait in that queue.

A friend of mine says the game may be moved to Northampton's ground.

Does anyone know the right date for the game

                               29/11/24 or 2/12/24

Not yet confirmed could be Friday, Saturday, Sunday or Monday.

Expect Kettering will get temporary stands in to increase capacity but at most will be 5,000 and a sell out

If it's on TV could cause problems for tickets as previously grounds have had to lose so capacity for the gantry and cameras etc..

Here's a good one. Kettering vice-chairman says "I don't know what kind of away support they've(Rovers) got, but if they don't sell all their tickets, I'm sure we'll sell them for them".

What f*cking planet is he on? Does he think our away support is on a par with all the visiting teams they get in their League?

We play Fleetwood on the 2nd, would the cup match take priority over the league? I hope not because we’ve booked our hotel.

If the game is staged on 1st or 2nd, Fleetwood match would be postponed.

We play Fleetwood on Tuesday 3/12/24.

If we don't get selected for the Monday night cup slot, we'll be fine for the Fleetwood game, and Jimmy's hotel tickets will be sound.

Tell him they can have the away end, we'll have the home end.

I had a chuckle Mickey, it reminded me of Soccer AM from back in the day when Helen Chamberlain cracked that every week. Ah, the good old days.

Yes, Reg, Helen Chamberlain. A bit of a looker she was.

I wonder what she's doing nowadays. I think I might have a chance with her.

My bet is that Kettering will be Friday evening and live on the BBC. As a supporter, it's a great frustration that the live TV matches take so long to be sorted out. Surely it could all be done within 48 hours of the draw?
