I find it impressive their support home and away considering they have Nottingham Forest 200 yards away. Double what we took to Bradford they are bringing.
You have to remember they ate a well supported club and have history playing at a higher level than the past few decades. If they got to the championship I'd bet they wouldn't be fat off filling there ground most weeks. When I was at school they was a div 1 div 2 side whilst we was div 4 and lucky to get 3 k gates most weeks. They remind me of a Burnley or a Preston. Had Nottingham only had one side they could have a 50 to 60 k stadium. Instead you got 2 clubs that can draw 30k plus in forest and 20 in County. It's such a shame we have never done nothing of note as Doncaster as a one club town should be able to get 25 k going on Population even without playing in the prem. Instead they all go Leeds and Sheffield sides and even a few go Manchester. Although our support has grown since John Ryan took over its not gone past the 5.5k to 7k hard-core fans that will go most home games. I remember after Stoke all the young kids in rovers tops. Was great to see, them kids are now all the singers and create a good atmosphere. When they have kids you have to hope they follow and support rovers and over time Doncaster should have bigger gates as its a big town. I mean city.

If they have sold 3000. Why haven't they been given down the side of the east stand. The same question needs answering as to why wasn't Grimsby given more tickets.

Rovers aren’t allowed to give part of the East Stand to away fans anymore due to safety reasons.

When did that start from?
Is it just for when the North Stand is sold out?

Was wondering the same as we have already had away fans in the East, instead of opening the North, for the smaller contingents.

So is it a numbers thing allowing too many in ? As a lot of teams are being put in the east stand when small numbers

Interesting that most people on here think that our home support numbers are not going to go much above what we normally get, that is about 6.5 - 7.5 thousand.

It’s not holiday season and it’s well before Christmas, so is it a reflection on our perceived form? Or has the last home game left a sour enough taste in the ‘waverer’s’ minds to put them off coming back for this one?

3 consecutive away wins in one week, albeit one of them against a very young Barnsley side, surely, you would have thought, would give a few the extra encouragement to attend this tricky fixture (for both sides).

Whatever the attendance figures are, it should be a cracking atmosphere and I hope the team can put on a display.

South stand starting to sell better as the week has gone on, now three blocks sold out.

Always wondered why the club doesn't big up the ticket sales, it generates interest and encourages the floaters be part of something. The club need to tap into the psychological FOMO  syndrome.

Buy one get one half price a possible marketing tool? Either for bigger games like this to almost guarantee ground is full or for the midweek games to get the attendance up

Not sure I can stomach the club promoting individual games it always seems to result in us losing the game (in my memory at least)

We can't keep putting offers on as that undermines one of the main benefits of buying memberships and multi tickets. Our ticket prices are relatively affordable so we shouldn't be undercutting even more. I doubt very much price is a barrier for attending.

I think those with sufficient interest, including all those extra numbers that turned up during our winning run last season, will know how we're doing, who we're playing and how much it'll cost them for a ticket.

Should we continue with sufficient form, the crowds will gradually build naturally without having to discount tickets.

The weathers looking quite favourable at the moment so that should encourage more walk ups on the day too.

Shouldn’t need any offers this one. Top of the table clash against a good, local ish club should sell itself. Recent patchy home form probably doesn’t help though. We really need to pick it up

Average for Saturday games this season (excluding away fans) is around 7000. You'd hope we'd exceed that tomorrow with it being a big game. Plus Notts Co bringing 3k. I'd be very surprised if it was under 10k. Wouldn't be entirely shocked if it was closer to 11k if recent results have captured the imagination a bit.

Happy days, Grant wants a crowd to the left and a crowd to the right. (No clowns though)
We really do owe Notts County a beating, particularly after that Boxing Day disaster.
Big match tomorrow, we’ve had a couple of home hiccups, and this is a big chance to put a marker down after the super win at Bradford.
They’ve done us 26 times we’ve done them 25 with 8 draws.
Last 4 League games won 2 (2017 the last win) and lost 2 (last season of course)
Here’s to 11,000plus

Only 327 south stand tickets left.

Only 50 tickets left in the family stand.

Only 184 tickets left in the east stand

697 tickets left in the west stand.

Total left 1,258.

Yes I'm bored at the moment.

The east and west stands won't include the blocks closer the north stand.

I'm still non the wiser as to why a decision on health and safety have prevented away fans from using the east stand. It seems ridiculous to me. If we can't sell them, then away supporters should be able to use that part of the east stand.

As above, create an interest, make people think they are missing out on something.

That's right, not sure on the official capacity nowadays,  it's not 15,500 anyway.
Segregation,  broken seats , TV screen and unreserved standing have lowered it considerably.
So let's say capacity 14,000, Notts sold 3k, we've got 1,250 ish left so we've  sold around 9750 home tickets (I think)

Nah, it’s a lower than that (home ticket sales). As pointed out above, I don’t think you are taking into account the two sizable areas in the east and west that we can’t sell. I would imagine there is only 8000 tickets we can sell. So we’ve probably sold about 6800

So you're saying our overall capacity is around 12,000?

3,500 reduction from the original capacity seems a hell of a lot

Yes currently, 12k is probably about right. The segregated East and west blocks probably accounts for about 1500 seats at least. The reduction in the south for unreserved was reported as circa 500 I think, then the screen, then the segregation between East/south/west and finally the reduction in the away end. Sure when the stadium first opened we gave away teams 3,300 as standard just in the north? Appears to only be 3k now, so another reduction there
