Why don't the FA issue an immediate £10,000 fine per smoke bomb/pyro to the guilty parties club. That would soon weed out the w**kers that are bringing em in, throwing em on pitch. It would put more impetus on the clubs to tackle the issue. Also surely there would be adequate CCTV in the ground to identify an individual or group in the stand to track them on other cameras in concourse and outside etc to get the images to the respective club?
They are used all over Europe even nowadays including Scotland and Ireland. To help generate an atmosphere and to help with tifo displays. And I mean pretty much ALL of Europe.Which country is the one and only that has a winge and a moan and a complain lame, sanitised, boring England fans/grounds And don't bother coming back with but my sisters mum's brother has a cough, your vape is waiting for you
I don’t understand why play stops tbh. Chuck a bucket of water on it and crack on.
Why don't we have a bloke or lady with a litter picker and a bucket of water to pick it up and put it in?

Do you think the individuals care if they lump their club with a heavy fine?
The Scottish cup semi final at Hampden last week had a 12 minute k.o delay because they were waiting for the pyro smoke to clear.Anyway, it proved that the search at the turnstiles Aren’t very effective at the Eco north stand.

I wonder how many minutes passed from the moment County’s goal was scored, until the ref re-started the game having left the pyros to burn out.My guess would be around 4 minutes. Then of course there were a few more stoppages in play before half time. How many minutes did the ref add on at the end of the first half…..?

Over here in Ireland the FAI do very little to stop it. It's only in European competition that it's clamped down on. It's a different story when UEFA are involved.
How do they "generate" atmosphere?Do pyros clap? Do they sing? Do they chant?Do pyros grab hold of strangers in ecstasy after a late goal?

They are certainly banned in Scotland and Ireland. They don't create an atmosphere. They cause a break in play and we all stand about for 5 mins while it clears. What a stupid post overall and an utterly dim-witted final comment to close it.

Of course that should happen. And of course the prat who did it is a prat. The prat who threw a firework on a pitch and a player lost his fingers is a prat. But as a display package as a whole flags banners scarves pyros it works. And it works all over Europe except winging EnglandBecause straight away the nannies would be out complaining they couldn't see for each half second a flag was waved, someone dared to stand up for more than 30 seconds, etc etc
