Graingrover…couldn’t agree more.
The interview with Joe was very insightful. Clearly comes from a close family, his faith & his willingness to learn. I liked how he described being on the unbeaten run & how they only appreciated it really after the event. He’s articulate & comfortable with Liam. Really enjoyed it.

Also enjoyed Joe's interview what a decent human being he comes across as. Good team mate and loyal friend, his parents should be very proud.

Think these have been great. I enjoyed the one with Sbarra. It's great how open they are about things and we often forget they're just human beings.

Sbarra may not have had the most blistering start on the pitch but given 12 months ago he was having heart surgery it puts a lot into perspective - I also liked how he admitted he knows he's not up to speed yet and wants to work harder to get there.

Makes you think when we're giving them stick for a misplaced pass or a missed chance that maybe they already realise they've messed up and don't need us reminding them!

Didn't enjoy Liam asking Olowu what he'll miss about Doncaster when he leaves though! Rephrase that to say when you sign your new long term contract what do you love most about it!

Good to listen to that interview and it gives a great insight into how he lives and conducts himself.
I will have to watch out for more of these interviews in the future.

I was listening to Simon Jordan waffle on this morning and I got fed up, so I turned on the Joe interview while I was on the treadmill. What a great listen, a very impressive and intelligent young lad.

A few weeks ago when we played Barrow on the Tuesday night, my lad (7) had football training at Cantley Park at 5:30.

As we parked up, all the rovers players were leaving Cantley Park down that long road.

My lad put his Rovers hat on, and stood at the side of the road to wave at them.

Most of them smiled and waved back.

Two of them stopped, wound their windows down and had a chat with him. Jack Senior and Joe Olowu.

My lad was made up, both top blokes asking him about his training and how many he was going to score etc. They sounded genuinely interested and he was buzzing.

Great interview, does seem a really lovely bloke - humble but also confident and self-assured. Enjoyed that. Love the fact they just sat outside at the Yorkshire Outlet and just had random people wandering by!

I thought the format of the interviews in the car was a good idea, but was spoiled by the fact that 90% of the interview was a forced conversation about whether they liked the new Daewoo Nexia or whatever it was.

Yes great interview.
Sounds very grounded and level headed.
No airs and graces with Joe.

Also get the vibes that there is a fantastic team spirit at the club.
All pushing each other on and the goal isn’t just promotion, there is a genuine will to win the league.

Yes, li like this format of interview too. Olowu comes across as the ultimate humble professional thankful he's playing the game he loves.

A couple of other vids released recently, one showing Joe Sbarra and Harry Clifton doing some bus driver training was quite funny with Joe struggling to reach the pedals.

The Inside Rovers v Salford showing the non playing squad players playing computer games with the kids in Donny Dogs Kennel, all looking very casual and having fun with our next generation of fans. Great to see.

Bumped into Olowu in the Asda a few week back.

Really nice guy and deeply humble, had alot of time for me.
