Took his chance in the 2nd half,  loads of decent crosses into the box and not afraid to take a player on.
Sterry looked shocking 1st half, deservedly hooked.

Thought he played well considering he always looks like he isn’t comfortable on the ball or is going to trip over his own foot.

Always thing oh he’s about to give the ball away yet comes away with it to get a cross in.

He reminds me of Jason Price with his unorthodox style, but effective

Turned the game for us along with Ironside, credit to Kettering but it wasn't a game for our more technical players today

Made a difference, but not as much as both Hurst and Ironside.

Why did we sign S’barra? I just don’t get it!

With that pitch and those conditions i would of played them at their own game and relied on ours having that touch more quality.

I would have started with JE and every other robust and athletic player we had, that was no place for lightweight ball players.

It was obvious the conditions would dominate the match, in that case a more direct and no nonsense style would work better.

It could have been the difference between playing extra time and not, at this time of the year the very last thing you want your side doing is playing extra time in sapping conditions.

Hope we learn from this.

I’ve not been to Fleetwood.
What is the pitch like there?
If it is anything like todays then JE should start.
If it is decent I think JS will come back in.

Don’t mind Emmanuel getting a run in the team.
I think as Sterry’s refusal / inability to beat a man on the outside is one of the causes of our attacking stagnation.

I can't remember too much about the pitch, mate, but the conditions are awful. There's little cover on the side of the ground where the wind blows in from the sea.

Consequently, the ball's in the air a lot of the time. This might be a game that suits Anderson and Ironside. On that basis I'd like to see GM go 3 at the back and 2 up front for this.

He looks good every time I see him. Give him a start.

Sterry was shocking today.

Sterry not direct enough to be a wing back IMO let’s see how he gets on

Emmanuel looks to beat his man and get to the byline which is what you need in that role

I always thought that is why we have wingers, full backs to back them up as the name suggests, but we should be looking to Molyneux and Gibson (or others) to be doing that, they are not doing their jobs, they are trying to be main strikers.

Sterry is one of if not out top assist maker isn't he?  Emmanuel did a job against a tiring non league side but sterry is a better player imo.

Vastly misleading thread title. Not what I was looking forward to at all.
