We need to make the Eco a fortress, where we make it hard for away teams getting anything from  the game. We need to turn recent draws into wins, if we want to be a regular and stable top 3 side.

All football and rugby in Wales cancelled today.
Hopefully we don’t get the worst of the weather today and that everyone gets home safely after the game.
We shouldn’t forget any Cheltenham fans who are travelling to Donny today in horrible conditions.

I've decided not to travel up to the game today
My thoughts are that all the games should be called off today for fairness due to the weather  but that's just my opinion

He was not that bad and one of the stalwarts in the side at that time and scored some good goals.

I watched on sky as well and think he did all the dirty work in front of the back three.
The commentator kept getting the players names wrong by the way.
With your precise timing of those two events it sounds more like you were looking for things to criticise him for.
Every player on the pitch made sloppy passes tonight in those conditions.
I thought he did a good job for us.
Never mind, we probably just see things differently.

I have never been a Broadbent fan but have to agree with you here. He was excellent on Wednesday doing all the dirty work. Unfortunately along with Sterry he is a scapegoat for most.

He’s been really good all season when he has played.Think he’s been hard done by to be sat on the bench as much as he has.

Seen yeboah, close and westbrooke on the 5-a-side pitches at 10.30 this morning.
Does that mean they wont be taking part today?

The journey up was awful and I’m not sure it was my best decision.

Hoping it was worth it !!

maybe.

Could also be a meeting to discuss how to overthrow the North Korean government.

I'd only be driving over from the Hull area, but weather is getting worse here so I don't think I will risk it. Well done to the hardy souls who get there

Prior to the fleetwood game i would have aswell.
But once we beat fleetwood away we should really be only wanting the 6 points.
Being happy with a point at home against cheltenham isnt really promotion aspirations

Will take a point after being behind twice but that’s definitely 2 points dropped. Again.

We’ve only won once in the last 5 and somehow we’re still 3rd. This league is shite but we’re not consistently showing we’re good enough to get out of it.

I don’t think many expected three points at Fleetwood.
I expected a defeat there and a win at home today.
Swings and roundabouts.

They were the better team for me, the Archer? Guy on the wing was a constant threat, looked a decent player.
The positive is we have managed to not get beat, we have some serious grit to keep doing this when not playing too well.

Absolutely sick to the back teeth of McCann and home games now. Every single one is a carbon copy of the previous one. Woeful in the first half, different team in the second.

Yes i was very impressed with their winger and workrate. I have no idea however how their keeper didnt get booked for timewasting. Frustrating afternoon, but at least we again showed character in coming from behind. 5th home game in a row where we have conceded first. That needs to stop.

I’d take jmt23 post any day over yours.

It’s a shite league yes, we have ‘football playing’ footballers but today, as jmt23 says, it’s also about showing grit on a day when the elements definitely played a part.

I was impressed with Cheltenham. They definitely were looking to win the game up until added on time.

We’ve lost once in 13 games. No need for doom mongering. That was an ok result after we played away on Sunday and the Wednesday. Bound to take the edge off us.

Absolutely miserable conditions. They look better than their record suggests but also didn’t have many chances at all. Officials not great today.

6,259 gate. Probably 6k Rovers there then. Perhaps understandable given terrible conditions.

I don’t really think it’s doom mongering. It’s frustrating to me that no team is putting a run together and so the league is open at the top but we’re failing to capitalise. We have a good manager, good squad including plenty of depth but we’re still not shifting from 3rd gear.

We’re resilient and show plenty of grit and endeavour to get back into games when we go behind, which is great, but why do we keep going behind? Maybe I’m being greedy but I’m hoping for (or probably expecting) better.

Edit - should also caveat that I didn’t listen or watch today so going purely on the result, lucky pint and messages from a couple of people who were there. Appreciate also that the conditions wouldn’t have done us any favours and the rigours of extra time and a trip to Fleetwood in the last week (although McCann could have utilised the squad more given that).

Cheltenham are not a poor side and recent results have shown that they seem well organised, but these home performances don’t seem to show the application and confidence which you would imagine would stem from the midweek result. We have more talent than most in L2 and not carrying confidence forwards may have something to do with chopping and changing the line-up reducing mutual understanding.

Fatigue definitely a factor for me.  The Kettering slog followed closely by the hard battle at Fleetwood.  All the associated travel. Only two days rest then having to play a good, well organised team in those conditions.  Not easy.  All in all I think its been a very satisfactory week.

Six days, three games. One game was extra time. Two away games with decent travel. One early kick off, one evening, one afternoon. Lot happening there.

Seven days surely, but point well made.
On top of that to come back from behind twice was good especially given the shocking conditions.

I agree about fatigue but why not pick fresher lads? Picked up a few injuries as well, I would think - Maxwell not at the races and Billy very leggy.Sterry, Olowu and Molyneux all spending time laid out!

Very frustrating watch today.

A game we should have won with a bit more composure but the conditions made it very tricky.

As for the ref again, I am lost for words. Has someone at DRFC upset the refs because we are getting nothing from them. It almost looks to me they are deliberately trying to be biased towards the other team.
That’s how bad they seem to be at present match after match after match.

Sorry but it's another shite home performance after a great result on Wednesday.

Same old story. Poor goals conceded, no urgency until we go behind, and even when we start to push it feels like hard work and is all a bit too predictable.

If we don't beat Tranmere on the 21st it will have been three months (!) since we last won a home game. That's poor for any side, never mind one expected to challenge for promotion.

We’ve just played 3 games in a week in awful conditions. Sunday it was the terrible pitch, Wednesday and today horrible weather.

We have won 2 and drawn 1, get a grip
