Let's have some positivity
« on December 07, 2024, 08:17:37 pm by Ryaldinhio »
In a week we have gone through to next round in FA Cup and got 4 points in the league.

What's wrong with everyone?! If you had asked me last Saturday I would've taken that.

Played 120mins on a tatty field, a hard game in bad conditions at Fleetwood and people are asking why there are changes?

Then today terrible conditions and terrible ref.

BUT as above, I would have taken it at the start of the week.

Look at Man City, Man U etc. Look at Rotherham, one of favourites for promotion and are 2 points off relegation?

Not sure what you are expecting but some of you seriously need to get a grip.

Some of us our thinking just how much more of a grip we could now have with some consistency in our play, the constant reshuffles and formation changes are doing us no favours.

Pick you best team when you can, play the formation that suits the players you have and cut the meddling to the absolute minimum.

We had players today not knowing their arse from their elbow with that first half formation, we just about got away with it today after the break with the change to the Plan B. You know what, if Plan B works better then maybe just start with that ?

We aren't going to win every game. We aren't going to be perfect every game. Having the ability to make changes that impact the game and the resilience to NOT LOSE when not playing well is what makes champions.

Talk of not chopping and changing is short sighted. Every game is different, every opponent is different, our squad will be different following fatigue etc. PLUS everyone in here has not been happy to date but doesn't want grant to make changes?????

C'mon.

We aren't playing great yet we are in automatic spots, in FA Cup, in FLT.

I have my own frustrations but so far we are on target to do what we set out to achieve.

Over complicating a game of football adds nothing and makes lower league players look incompetent.

No team should go from a fabulous and well worked win and a few days later change everything to take on a side who in my opinion where not great, it just handicapped us and made us look and play, awful.

A team who is out for promotion should be setting their stall and playing to their strengths, not changing formations constantly to take on mediocre teams. It looks to me like we change far to much to often, gives us no consistency in our play and the players don't have scooby what they are supposed to be doing.

Imagine "when it clicks"
